The theme I chose is "don't trust adults", but could just as easily be "please don't have kids".

Games of Life

Careers is the game that teaches kids ages 10 and up that any "choice" in life they make will still see that their future is bland and predictable. And also really white.

I found this in a stranger's house. We decided not to play it because, comparable to real life, score keeping was vague and it seemed like an elaborate, demanding process. It's the type of game that requires commitment and seems like fun at first, then becomes a huge hassle. Like Monopoly or Mouse Trap.

White Jesus does smack

Sure he's wincing now...

For a Christian artist, this guy got the sordid home life of a drug addict down pat. And to all the other Christian kids looking at this piece in their youth centers, it makes the point clear that bad guys own handguns, do coke, drink whiskey, smoke cigarettes and gamble, and at the same time no less. Plus, most of them probably have nunchucks and a few skulls lying around. And I'm not sure, but that might be a fraudulent id next to the ashtray.

I came across this during my Google image search for the last post.

(PAIR-uh-SOAR-uh-LOW-fuss)

Parasaurolophus was a large bipedal to quadrupedal herbivore best known for its large trombone-shaped crest. This hollow crest is thought to have been used as a resonating chamber for making low frequency sounds for communicating with others of its kind. The crest may also have been used for display or for giving it an improved sense of smell.

From The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science:

The low trumpeting rumbling through the museum's New Mexico's Seacoast hall is anything but the strains of a brass ensemble warming up. Instead it is a high-tech model, a hypothesis, of the sound of Parasaurolophus (PAIR-uh-SOAR-uh-LOW-fuss), a 75-million-year-old dinosaur from northwestern New Mexico.

Dr. Carl Diegert of Sandia National Lab and Dr. Thomas E. Williamson of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque have explored in unprecedented detail and accuracy the potential sound-making ability of the duck-billed dinosaur. The results of their efforts were revealed at a news conference at the Museum on December 5, 1997, when a computer generated a sound said to be similar to one the dinosaur could have made 75 million years ago. Drs. Robert Sullivan and Williamson, with support of the Dinosaur Society, published a formal scientific description and analysis of the new specimen as NMMNH&S Bulletin 15, A New Skull of Parasaurolophus (Dinosauria: Hadrosauridae) from the Kirtland Formation of New Mexico and a revision of the genus in 1999.

After hearing the computer-generated sound, Dr. Williamson speculated that it could have been so distinctive that dinosaurs of the same species could have recognized each other. "This is not conclusive," Dr. Williamson said, "but it seems plausible because of the unique nature of each dinosaur's crest."

HATE MY DAD

Wednesday, March 17, 2004

oh my gosh. I am a very talented girl and have a perfect lean body with a supposedly perfect life. My dad is an asshole and my mother is a blessing, kind, patient, sharing, loving, and unfortunatly easily depressed. I have 2 brothers that fight like hell, and i fight with them a lot!!! But when my dad gets angry he takes all of his anger out on my mom, tonight he threatend to kill me, resulting in him offering to move out!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, my brother(twin) is an internet addict, (were both freshmen) and iam a perfectionist-so i need EVERYTHING typed out, so usually i have to threaten to break something of his and unplug the computer(which usually results in broken chairs) but when i finally did get the computer tonight, my dad mumbled, "little shit always makes up shit to get her way" so I yelled "what!!??" and he ran out of his little office and kept repeating, "wanna fight bitch!? wanna fight!? You know I'll win!" so my asshole brother butted in and said, "what? why are ttrying to fight MY sister/ Your bigger than her!" Thenn My dad mumbled some stuff, and told my mom he was moving out, right then he just left. this is so tramatic. My parents have never ever done anything like this before. jesus i wish a counselor could help. my poor mother is crying now. bye. please, some one email me and help me. @ perfectme15@hotmail.com  7:11 PM

Ladies...I need your help

 Ladies,

I hope to provide lots of helpful content to help girls identify if their boyfriend is a Tool. I'd like for you to comment with stories of guys that you know or have dated that are Tools and what they have done. Please do not use any names. I hope to create simplified surveys so people can quickly asses whether or not someone is a tool, but we need good data first.
